For some reason I’m not really shocked. If I could get out of my house without being hounded by interviewers and photographers I might be able to stop that sort of thing from happening.

And you consider the only action of defense as killing us?

I know from experience that it’s the only sure way to stop your kind. Even souls can be lost or corrupt, guilt doesn’t always stop humans from doing evil so why would it be to foolproof way to stop vampires. And government implanted chips can even be overridden. I’ve seen it happen. I can’t stand aside and let vampires feast on the human race while the government and media try to come up with some other action of defense.

And what about the good vampires?

Good vampires are an exception to the rule. I know a total of two out of the thousands I’ve met. You make it sound like there are tons of them just wandering the earth, which I’ve experienced isn’t true. And the good ones aren’t generally out scouring abandoned alleyways for innocents to feed on.
