Buffy: Everything’s fine now 🙂
Tara: Well, that’s a relief. What happened with the registration?
Buffy: I was gonna go, that’s where I was going when I left and all. I got stopped. Now it’s sort of too late, I’m not really happy about it. But I’m not in a position to do anything about it right now.
Tara: It never ends, does it? I miss the old days.
Buffy: It sure doesn’t. And I miss happy golden days of yore too, I guess it’s sort of pointless though. Unless we can get a higher being or a time machine involved.

Buffy: Well I did, and I mean, it wasn’t that long anyways. So don’t worry, nothing to live with there.
Buffy: It was going to be shitty no matter who won.
Buffy: Just a certain blonde. Assertive, totally hot, and sort of a badass…
Faith: Point taken.
Faith: Hey, think I know her. She also a stuck-up tight-ass with no sense of fun who recently got her ass handed to her?
Faith: Can’t really blame someone who’s been out like a light for three days.
Buffy: Harsh, she is not stuck-up! And she can be very fun. She definitely has a sense of fun, just not in the obvious way.
Buffy: Apart from your glaring description errors, I think maybe we’ve got the same girl in mind.
Buffy: I wish it was as easy as blaming unconsciousness.

Buffy: It’s fine Tara. Everyone got a little excited I think.
Buffy: I forgive you, people have said so much worse to me before.
Buffy: I’ve been kinda busy since the meeting, so that’s why you didn’t hear from me.
Buffy: Everything’s fine now 🙂

Tara: Hey. I’m sorry about what I said at the meeting. Haven’t heard from you since.
Tara: I was just frustrated. I think you’re a great leader. Hope you can forgive me.
Buffy: It’s fine Tara. Everyone got a little excited I think.
Buffy: I forgive you, people have said so much worse to me before.
Buffy: I’ve been kinda busy since the meeting, so that’s why you didn’t hear from me.

Buffy: At least I can trust that no matter how much they fight it, they’ll pull through in the end.
Buffy: I want to ask you something but I don’t want you to think it’s because I think this is going to go badly.
Spike: A little late for hold-backs, isn’t it?
Buffy: Just thought for some reason that I should preface it with that.
Buffy: If those guys can hold the fort… Can you just look after Dawn? That’s all I ask. You’re the only one who wants to protect her as hard as I do.
Spike: Damn right I will. Always.
Buffy: I figured it could have gone unsaid, but with her I can never be too sure.
Buffy: You know? She’s too important to make assumptions about.
Buffy: Thank you.

Spike: They’ve gotten pretty good at it.
Buffy: At least I can trust that no matter how much they fight it, they’ll pull through in the end.
Buffy: I want to ask you something but I don’t want you to think it’s because I think this is going to go badly.
