[pm] There isn’t, but that’s about to change. And fast. Perhaps in the past it hasn’t work, but there’s now no choice but to make it. The law will adapt and survive, in the end it will be for the best. Your world might have its own rules, but people end up dead with them. The two need to come together, or we’ll all just get caught in the storm.

[Pm] People will already end up dead, Leslie. They do all the time. The law is supposed to uphold justice, but from my experience it only hinders it where the supernatural is involved.

[pm] I know I have been less than supportive to you of late. I was trying to give you your space, after everything that has happened. I was wondering if…you could perhaps give me a second chance. I understand if you cannot forgive me, but I miss you and Dawn terribly. Perhaps it’s selfish, but I want to try and make things right.

[pm] I won’t pretend I understand why you did what you did.  I can’t speak for Dawn, but I’ve missed you too.  I’m willing to give you a second chance.  But there have to be conditions, it’s the only way I know to keep Dawn safe.  If you ever bring Faith near her… Well I just can’t risk such a volatile person being near her, not after what she did.

[pm] A wise evaluation. I may not be a card-carrying “scooby,” but if you should require anything at all, it would be my duty and my pleasure to help.

[pm] Thanks, I’m almost certain that some world endy event will come along and we’ll be needing as much help as we can get. I’ll be sure to contact you when that time comes.

fairfax-for-the-greater-good replied to your post: [pm] I’ve been observing you and your friends this evening. You’ve been honing your diplomacy since the Council last spoke with you. I’m sure Rupert is quite proud.

[pm] You’ve become more careful with your words. It’s a mark of a good leader. I’d continue to be cautious, however. Recent events may draw attention to you, and we wouldn’t want them to find anything unflattering.

[pm] Thanks, I guess. Don’t worry, I’ll be cautious. I don’t need to run off my mouth any more than I already have. I’ve got enough problems to handle and the added drama would just be a no-no.

[pm] Well I wouldn’t exactly know if he was, I haven’t really talked to him too much since this last episode of apocalypse aviodance… What do you mean honing my diplomacy? Sorry, you’ll have to bear with me. Vocab wasn’t my best subject in school, neither were any of them really. I was much more of a prevent-disaster-from-spawning-out-of-the-hellmouth-in-the-library type of girl.
