Buffy: If they try something bad on me don’t you trust I’ll beat the bejeezus out of them before that happens? I’m gonna do this, it’s the only way I can see.
Xander: I don’t doubt you, but they could have tranq guns and strength in numbers.
Xander: …Fine, but can we make a pact that you don’t go alone? And have a big Scooby meeting to talk about these things with everyone before and see if there are any better plans?
Buffy: If it can happen before the 22nd. That’s sort of D-Day. Or R-Day I guess.
Xander: Where’s a good apocalypse when you need one?
Xander: We could have one tomorrow or Friday. Your place?
Buffy: I guess the sooner the better. Though I’m guessing it’s just gonna end up with everyone against me.
Buffy: Tomorrow it is, my place. You can spread the word or I can.

Buffy: That’s my plan. The lady watcher, Ms. Fairfax is gonna try and get all glammed up and go in as me; but I’m not letting it happen. They’ll find out she’s not a slayer the moment they realize she doesn’t have superstrength and I don’t trust them not to just “dispose of” her if that happens.
Xander: I agree about the Watcher. It wouldn’t take long to realize she doesn’t have slayer powers, but I don’t trust them not to try something bad on you. I’m not letting that happen.

Buffy: Maybe one day it won’t be that way.
Buffy: One the right thing will be the thing that makes us happy.
Buffy: I have to keep believing that much at least.
Spike: You could be glad about the right thing, even if it makes you miserable.
Buffy: Logically maybe. But I just want the right thing to feel good for once.
Buffy: Like misery no where in sight good.
Spike: You’ll get there. It happens.
Spike: Not often, but where’d the fun be in that?
Buffy: Everywhere. The fun would be everywhere.
Buffy: But I always enjoy things more when I have to work for them.
Buffy: So it’s better it rarely happens.
Buffy: I’m glad it’s possible though.

Buffy: Well it’s kind of a secret but I told Kennedy she could help me if she got her powers back. She wants to register but there’s no way I’m letting her if she doesn’t have her powers.
Buffy: So maybe don’t get scared about that just yet. Maybe I won’t be all alone.
Buffy: Just occurred to me but the powers thing is probably a secret too.
Spike: I trust you.
Buffy: I trust you. More than anyone maybe.
Spike: Well, good.
Spike: You end up needin’ a hideaway, that’s gonna have to be true.
Buffy: Well we’ll be set then, because it is.
Buffy: I just cant help but hope that this will all turn out okay, that I won’t need to hide.
