Buffy: You probably could’ve gotten away with that angle stuff. I sorta skipped more than half of my geometry classes back in high school.
Buffy: And I know, I don’t want to get sappy either. Hence the “ick”. I think I’ll just stick to my usual plan of shoving all my emotions down my throat and soldiering on.
Buffy: That’s always worked quite nicely in the short run.
Faith: Preach.
Buffy: Anyone else and it’d be “oh but buffy what about the long run? repression is bad”. But not you, Faith.
Buffy: I think maybe there are some things that other non-us people just can’t understand.

Buffy: Well I never would’ve wished for that if I was sober. I’m usually like uber careful with the w word, but then I was never careful enough where he was concerned. Anyways, low of a life as he was, he didn’t really deserve that.
Buffy: Ick. I’m getting all sappy. Drinking’d just make it worse. I keep forgetting that it tends to intensify my pain instead of dull it.
Faith: Yeah, yeah, I know, always possible to do a 360. …Wait, but that’d be a circle. Think I meant 180.
Faith: No one wants you to get sappy. Seriously.

Buffy: It’s stupid. I just have to vent it.
Willow: It’s not stupid.
Willow: And I’m glad you still trust me enough to vent it. ❤
Willow: You can do it some more. If you want, I mean.
Buffy: You’re the best friend, it’s what you’re here for right? Personal vent listener and shoulder crier onner.
Buffy: Of course I trust you, when it comes to emotional stuff and girl talk, only Willow will do ❤
Buffy: I could go on, but I'd probably just be repeating myself.

Buffy: Everything’s fine now 🙂
Tara: Well, that’s a relief. What happened with the registration?
Buffy: I was gonna go, that’s where I was going when I left and all. I got stopped. Now it’s sort of too late, I’m not really happy about it. But I’m not in a position to do anything about it right now.
Tara: It never ends, does it? I miss the old days.
Buffy: It sure doesn’t. And I miss happy golden days of yore too, I guess it’s sort of pointless though. Unless we can get a higher being or a time machine involved.
Tara: With our lives, who knows? But you’re right. Wishing is dangerous. :/
Buffy: I think though that if we keep pushing upstream and that, eventually our lives’ll be less dangerous or something.

Buffy: Only I get to be this cool, Faith.
Buffy: Do you remember Cameron? My uh, well I’m not sure what he was to me anymore. But he was vampire Matthew’s boyfriend. That’s who it was.
Buffy: Nope definitely not hoping to be doing any tossing of anything any time soon.
Faith: Hey, far as I can tell, that just means there’s one less lowlife off the planet. Not that I can really get off on judging, but whatever.
Faith: Might help with the pain. As in like, your bones. The other stuff too though.
Buffy: Well I never would’ve wished for that if I was sober. I’m usually like uber careful with the w word, but then I was never careful enough where he was concerned. Anyways, low of a life as he was, he didn’t really deserve that.

Buffy: It’s kind of weird, he called me the other day. When the registration law passed. It was this strange sort of non conversation.
Willow: I’m sorry.
Willow: …was it a good kind of non-conversation?
Buffy: It just sort of was. We didn’t fight or anything if that’s what you’re asking.
Buffy: I was shocked by it I guess. Out of the blue he calls me all concerned, I don’t know what to think of it really. Or if I should even think anything of it at all.
Willow: He just cares about you. We all do. Even if we kind of suck at showing it.
Buffy: I know you guys do. Care, that is. It’s just kind of hard with him because he’s with Cordelia now and I mean I should be happy for them because he’s happy with her but it still kind of hurts.
Buffy: And I just, I know he cares. But we both know we can’t be friends and it just seems sort of traitory that he’d be all worried about me when he’s got Cordy now.
Buffy: It’s stupid. I just have to vent it.

Buffy: Ask Anya, maybe she got it on tape. Actually don’t. It’s kind of a secret.
Buffy: But yes, that is something I non-metaphorically, totally real lifeically, did while drunk.
Buffy: Don’t even remember it and I still feel guilty.
Buffy: I think sainthood and drunkenness sort of contradict one another anyways.
Faith: Damn. Wish I were that cool. That’s one I haven’t done yet.
Faith: Who was it? I mean, if you know and wanna say.
Faith: True that. Think I’m done with that stuff though. Unless you were hoping to toss a few back.
Buffy: Only I get to be this cool, Faith.
Buffy: Do you remember Cameron? My uh, well I’m not sure what he was to me anymore. But he was vampire Matthew’s boyfriend. That’s who it was.

Buffy: Really hurt is when it gets to coma level, or the loss of body parts. Which it didn’t.
Buffy: You could totally swing. If you wanted to 🙂
Xander: What’s just hurt then?
Xander: I do want. Swinging after work tomorrow it is. Should I bring anything?
Buffy: Just hurt is broken bones, that sort of thing. Recoverable.
Buffy: You could also swing by my apartment (which I think is probably stupidly unlocked) and get my laptop/make sure the place isn’t ransacked. That’d be super.
Xander: I can do that. See you tomorrow.
Buffy: See ya!

Buffy: Nope, you didn’t wake me. My phone’s sort of been blowing up now that everyone realizes I’m all sentient.
Buffy: He can come over if he wants. I mean, I wouldn’t be opposed to it or anything. It’s up to him.
Buffy: It’s kind of weird, he called me the other day. When the registration law passed. It was this strange sort of non conversation.

Xander: And this counts as only sort of hurt?
Xander: Do you want me to swing by sometime?
