[pm] You can ask.

[pm] I’m afraid the Council’s tactics were much like your: We both preferred to keep the nasty bit about souls out of this mess if at all possible. But recent events aside, the battle seems to be waged on popular opinion. We must first make you as accessible as we can. Highlight your charm, that manner of speech you have, how much you care, and how much you’ve been hurt through it all. You’re already something of a politician, but I will pass on a few aristocratic tricks for holding your tongue.
[pm] Yeah, I guess there really isn’t anything like this that’s happened before. Nothing to base the plan on. Do you really think I’m a politician? I’m sort of flattered!
[pm] I’m sure it doesn’t mean all that much, but you’ve fielded inquiries from your friends marvelously this evening. And if I may add, your hair is rather lovely. To the envy of many even, I’m sure.
[pm] I does mean much though. I’ve been working really hard on keeping a good name and image for slayers. I’m glad at least you noticed, that means that the public is probably noticing too.
I just got things good between me and my friends, I really don’t want it to mess up just yet. And thank you about my hair, I really like it. Which is I guess what matters in the end, since it’s living on my head and all.
fairfax-for-the-greater-good replied to your post: What is it with vampires and their strange…
One of the world’s greater mysteries, I expect.
You’d think they’d learn new bantering techniques after hundreds of years…
[pm] I want to thank you for your recent services against the Dullahan, Ms. Summers. It was your duty, of course, and Mr. Rupert Giles is very dear to you but all the same, I could not be more grateful for your success.
[pm] It was the only thing I could have ever done. And you’re welcome, I didn’t know he was so important to you.

fairfax-for-the-greater-good replied to your post: [pm] Hello, Ms. Summers. I was wondering how you’d feel about making a public appearance in the near future? Your efforts thus far have been admirable, but I fear it’s time we became a little more assertive.
[pm] Your frustration is understandable and one I share with you, let there be no doubt. But you must remain calm and graceful. I can help you, discreetly of course, if you so wish. It is, after all, part of why I was sent for in the first place.
[pm] That woman is an idiot. How am I even supposed to reason with her? If I go onto the show she won’t even want to listen to me, she’ll just attack. I’m just unsure if it will help the cause more than it will hurt it.
[pm] I understand your concerns, Ms. Summers. If the strain is too much, or you feel the risk too great I can ask another Slayer or we can explore alternative measures together. But something must be done before the Vampire side of the story becomes the only one heard. I do hope you understand…
[pm] I know it would be me who would have to do it. I’ll do it. I want people to see our side of the story too. Is there any way that I can go into this a little less blind?

[pm] Public appearance where? I want to be assertive but if you’re suggesting what I think you’re suggesting, I just don’t know how I can do it without getting myself into trouble.
fairfax-for-the-greater-good replied to your post: [pm] Ms. Summers, I have received some intelligence regarding the dullahan. I am told that they are attracted to blood. It’s not much, but perhaps something useful can be made out of it.
[pm] You are quite welcome. If you could keep me up-to-date with your progress on the situation I would be most grateful.
[pm] I’ll let you know once we’ve got a coherent plan figured out. We can probably use the help of someone a little… Smarter.

[pm] This information will definitely help, thank you.
