[pm] Okay. Yeah. But like for real yeah, not sad yeah. I hope things get better for her soon, really.

[pm] I know you do.

[pm] Y-yeah, when they’re better. Totally.

[pm] Look, Will. I know stuff is tough with her right now. But she’s having a really tough time, she’s going through something really different. I understand, but I think it’s something only people who’ve come back can. 

And I know it looks right now like maybe things will never be better, but they will. It takes time, but eventually things will be okay. I’ve lived through it and I know. So just keep your head up, don’t let what’s happening with her get you down.  She’s down enough for the entire gang, but Spike and I are gonna help her. And she’s gonna get better the right way. 

Just please remember that.

[pm] Dawnie liked the crosswords? I /knew/ I wasn’t the only one who did them!!

[pm] Yes, and Dawnie like to force me to do them with her at every occasion. And especially when I wanted to go outside and play instead, that was always her favorite time to suddenly want to get her crossword on. But she’s Dawn so I don’t hold it against her. And nope, you’re not the Tigger of crosswords! Hope you aren’t disappointed.

[pm] Haha, I would’ve gladly been your damsel. My stuffed animals were never that great at the stunning heroics thing.

[pm] Dawn never used to let me. She was all “no buffy leave me alone i’m reading.” or sometimes “buffy come on just one more crossword puzzle”. She did not have time to sit around in distress. 

[pm] I’ve heard bits and pieces. She was probably wild and cute as a button, you know? It sure would’ve been nice having you as my best friend growing up. I would’ve shared the throne of Narnia with you. And we could’ve played doctor together!

[pm] I’m pretty sure little me would have only been able to handle playing doctor if we got to play super Buffy rescues the damsel in distress afterwards! I was a pretty crazy kid myself, sorta bossy too. But we would have been the most adorable pair of buddies on the planet either way!
