Buffy: Okay well I’m just gonna say this because I thought someone’d already told you. But there is another plan, one I completely don’t support.
Spike: Go on, have it out.
Buffy: Penelope Fairfax (the lady watcher- if you know her) goes and pretends she’s me and registers and I just get to watch as she probably dies because she’s not an actual slayer and I wouldn’t put it past these crazies to just get rid of her.
Spike: Oh.
Spike: Right.
Spike: If they try to get rid of her, they’re gettin’ rid of her as you. Your plan puts you as the one got rid of.
Spike: Get why you’re not waving a foam finger over it. Not big on martyrdom ‘less it’s you at the stake.
Buffy: Or maybe, just maybe, I don’t want her blood on my hands.
