Because it would sort of be wronger for you to take their powers away now, you know? I mean you said that once magic is in you, it’s a part of you. Well it’s the same with slayer powers.

[pm] Yeah, Giles called me about it. I could actually hear the concerned-face! A-anyways, I’m sorry about the whole thing.

Is it, is it really like that? With your powers?

[pm] Well I mean, I don’t know who I’d be without them. Actually I do. I’d still be Buffy, the slayer. Only I wouldn’t have my powers and I’d end up getting myself killed. There’s no way I could stop fighting for what I know is right, being a mere mortal wouldn’t stop me. And it wont stop the others. They’d never be able to adjust.
