Wow, the Slayer has some bite to her.

I won’t rehash some of the same arguments we’ve seen over and over lately about vampires and ‘being good.’

But humans are a weaker species, in general. Wouldn’t it do to try and make friends with some of the demonic races? World’s tilting more and more every day. What if demons tried to take the world back again? What hope could you have without more allies?

Dedication to the ‘right’ cause and caring about the ‘innocent’ is a noble gesture. Worthy of praise in the highest degree. I think part of what differs is who we believe is right and innocent.

You aren’t a species. “A species is often defined as a group of organisms capable of interbreeding and producing fertile offspring.” Vampires can’t do that. You’re not meant to rule the earth, you’re meant to burn when the sun comes up. Earth is the home of humans, plants, and animals. There are countless other demensions where demons rule and humans are slaves, this is the demension where humans are supposed to be safe. Maybe humans are weaker than vampires are, but I’m not. I wasn’t given this power for no reason, I’m supposed to defend the greater good. I base my actions off of what I see and experience, and I have experienced vampires. You aren’t good.

You’ve fought us so long, and you don’t have a simple fact in order?

We do ‘reproduce.’ It’s not the traditional sexual way—though I couldn’t define what we do as asexual either since another person is called into the mix. Maybe one of your Watchers can give you an instruction on how that’s done, Slayer. I can make an offspring, and that offspring would be capable of making more. I’d hardly call us infertile.

And maybe, for a time, this was the way of order. Where the humans declared their dominance over the Earth. But humans stole this planet just as much as you think I’m advocating demons stealing it.

The greater good only consists of what you say it does. And that’s a limited, narrow-minded way. There’s no place for creatures like me in your world because I can’t help that I need to feed on live blood—I don’t care what some of the other vampires will tell you. I’ve tried to feed on animals, even the bottle for a short time. It doesn’t work.

Your species is already overrunning the planet and chewing up its resources. You’ve all been doing a damn fine job of running it straight into the ground. So why is it that you, the humans, get to keep control of this one place we all have to live on? Because you can go out into the sun? Well, your species drowns in water. Should that be a qualifying argument over good and bad? Or can we start setting aside a few of these more archaic labels?

You’re not producing anything. You’re just stealing something that already existed. It’s an alteration to something that’s already there. That’s like brainwashing someone and calling them your child because of it.

There’s no place for your kind here because you kill innocent people for the fun of it. If you were being honest you wouldn’t be skirting around that fact. Sure you need blood to survive, but you don’t need to maliciously torture people to survive. You know that. I’m not fooled by the act you’re putting on. Anyone who is needs to open their eyes and look at the past.

And you were human once too. You’re living in some sort of human made abode right now. You’re on a computer or a cell phone right now. And you’ve probably driven a car as well. With a life as long as yours, you’ve probably caused more harm to this planet than I have. And the thing is, every vampire was once human. And once they die, it doesn’t mean they suddenly stop using all their creature comforts they’ve grown up with and start caring about the environment out of nowhere. With your unnaturally long lives, you’ve gotten an even better chance to wreck the planet than regular old human beings have.

That argument is just plain stupid. There’s no way around it and you don’t deserve for me to even try to find a nice way to say it either.
